We’re pleased to invite you to a conference UBI and economic policy to be held on 12 May 2022 at 12.00 –17.00 at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, HvA, The Wibauthuis, Wibautstraat 3b, in saal 02B09.
The economists Geoff Crocker and Lei Delsen will discuss the introduction of unconditional basic income and congruent economic policies.
Geoff Crocker, author of ‘Basic Income and Sovereign Money – the alternative to economic crisis and austerity policy’, is looking for the balance between the supply side and the demand side of the economy, and how sovereign money may steer the process.
Lei Delsen will speak about: “Policy preparation for an Unconditional Basic Income”. He will address needs, underpinning principles/philosophies, information gathering (as ex ante evaluation) and explicitly address funding: taxes versus Modern Monetary Theory (sovereign money).
